I love chemistry in general, especially Applied Chemistry, and I do love teaching it! Chemistry was one of my favourite subjects in high school. I won prizes in many Olympiads and chemistry competitions between schools and was involved a lot with the school’s chemistry club.

I studied:

* Industrial Chemistry at the University of Tirana (5 year BSc programme);
* Environmental Change and Management at the University of Oxford (Master of Science Programme)
* I did a research based PhD in Environmental Chemistry at the Polytechnic University of Tirana.

I taught Chemistry and Environmental Management subjects at the Polytechnic University of Tirana for 17 years.

During my academic career I also carried out research at the University of Oxford, UK; University of California – Riverside, USA; Polytechnic University of Bari, Italy; Central European University, Budapest, Hungary etc. I am a Fulbright Scholar and a Chevening FCO Scholar.

I also have a Level 3 Diploma in Teaching and an Advanced Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring and I regularly take CPD courses from various Universities to be up to date in my knowledge of the subjects I tutor.

In the UK I have about 5 years experience teaching at the HND level and over 8 years experience in online tutoring.

I started my own business in May 2019 as an Educational Consultant (freelance Tutor/Lecturer) to devote more time to online tuition and have flexibility in setting lesson times.

I am offering tutoring (including preparation for exams) for the Subjects:

Chemistry (GSCE / National 5 up to A Levels / Advanced Higher)
Environmental Science (GSCE / National 5 up to A Levels / Higher)

Availability: I am available mainly for online tutoring.

I can also offer face to face tutoring at a public place in the city centre.
