Information about Marjan
I am a third year undergraduate student in Brunel University studying Psychology. I understand the importance of education and by nature, I have always had a passion to help and teach because we learn new things everyday, and if I am able to help someone learn something new, it is extremely rewarding. Because I am 20, I am able to connect and engage with students because I know what it is to be a student everyone has a different way of learning and I will tailor and create effective ways for each person to achieve.
Availability: Monday-Saturday 10am-7pm
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I tutored two students, one at key stage 3 and one in doing their GCSE three times a week privately in science, math and English. This was the first experience I had tutoring and it was really rewarding to be able to teach and help them achieve the best they can. The student who was at key stage 3 level was not in school yet because she was disengaged from learning, so it was challenging to make learning a fun experience and she eventually connected to the materials and strived.
At my sixth form, I was also part of the study plus after school program and tutored AS and A2 students in Sociology and Psychology.
