Hi there,

I`m a fully qualified secondary English teacher, currently working in a Wiltshire school and tutoring in Chippenham, Corsham and surrounding area. I am a key teacher of GCSE groups, in both language and literature courses and also have lots of experience of A Level Literature. I have previously worked as an examiner for the largest exam board in the country, which means I am able to pinpoint precisely what your child needs to get the necessary grades.

I live in Chippenham, with my wife and children and have been teaching for over 10 years. Having served as second in English, I am currently a Head of Year.

Employing a working teacher, with sound and current knowledge of exam requirements and ongoing educational changes is a must for success!

Availability: Evenings, subject to availability.

Happy to offer paired tuition at £55 for 2 students, £75 for three.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I have been part of designing individual intervention and tuition within schools and my KS4 and KS5 groups do extremely well. My GCSE and A level groups have outstripped national average performance for the last 3 years. I work primarily with the AQA exam board but can and have taught OCR and WJEC.
