Experience: I have worked as science lead teacher and head of department in several Secondary Schools and have 17 years experience of Teaching OCR, AQA and Edexcel GCSE specifications in addition to A-level Chemistry, A-level Biology and Chemistry for the International Baccalaureate Diploma programme. As an undergraduate my honours subject was Biology, however I specialised in Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics and have taught A-level Chemistry and A-level Biology in equal measure. The majority of my A-level Chemistry and Biology students have gone on to further study at Russell Group Universities, including Natural Sciences at Oxbridge, Medicine and veterinary science; as a sixth form tutor I have helped mentor and prepare students to access these disciplines. I have recently been completing a full time masters degree in Environmental Law at the University of the West of England.
