I bring almost 30 years of teaching experience - offering friendly, relaxed personalised learning to each individual learner. I enjoy helping to build confidence and enjoyment through a mix of learning activities including games.
Learners will be welcomed into my home in Newquay with lovely Gannel Estuary views and a garden full of birds and rabbits! Parents will be welcome to stay if they choose and sit in the adjoining room.
Availability: I am a Primary and Secondary School Supply Teacher and have another part time job. I tutor three evenings a week (days can be flexible) from 3:30pm - 7:30pm.
I can also be available during the day for home-schooled children or adult learners.
Im also able to offer some sessions during school holidays.

Experience: I have had my BA in Educational Studies with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) since 1995 and have now have 30 years of teaching experience
(Years 1- 10 or 4-16 year olds).
I have been tutoring for over 7 years and enjoy being able to give 1:1 personalised learning sessions.
I have experience teaching children with dyslexia and those with a wide range of barriers to learning.
I can help with Primary aged children in Numeracy, Literacy and Science. I am also happy to consider helping those struggling in secondary school mathematics up to GCSE level as well as adult learners.
