I understand all students have different needs and learning styles and being an experienced teacher I can adapt my teaching accordingly. Some students struggle to learn/understand in big groups and hence they may need individual support. I show empathy towards students, which makes them feel confident and encourages them to ask questions and this improves their learning. I also teach students to take responsibility of their learning and time management, as these skills are very important to be successful in GCSE/A-level, as they are studying various subjects simultaneously. I also help students improve their exam techniques as this is needed for achieving higher. I can also advice students about jobs, apprenticeships and university applications.

Experience: I am a biologist with a post graduation in Biochemistry and molecular biology.I have been teaching for 15 years, most of it in a sixth form college. I can teach A level biology, BTEC science and GCSE biology and physics.
