Experienced geography, environmental science and social science teacher. I have tutored for 4 years privately through word of mouth and I have recently had my resources and materials featured on TES!

I use simple lesson structure with easy to digest information, diagrams, graphs and step by step exam guidance for answering questions.

My best achievement to date is tutoring a grade E student and seeing them gain a grade B in their GCSE. She was more than grateful!

During my lessons you will be introduced to the topic by me before moving on to lots of guided learning. Students learn better when they have to think rather than having information thrown at them and I very much stick to this as much as possible. I will push you for answers whilst drip feeding information and using prompts to get you to the correct conclusion.

Daunting graphs and essay style questions will seem easy after receiving my guidance and step by step instructions on how to tackle them.

I look forward to tutoring and helping you with your exams as I`m sure my simple, no nonsense approach will be a breath of fresh air.

Experience: My experience includes four years of teaching the British curriculum after completing my PGCE in secondary geography. Within my four years I have taught geography, environmental science and social sciences.

I also hold a BSc in Environmental Management and a MSc in Ecology and Conservation. Prior to my career as a teacher I also worked in industry as an environmental consultant where I was involved in creating reports, visiting sites, condensing information and making it easier for the reader to digest.

I am confident in my teaching and I am also involved in guiding students through university applications as well as offering advice and support regarding further education and alternatives to university.
