I was born in England but am fluent in French because I grew up in France and went to school there from 8 to 16 years old. After studying the International Baccalaureate at Swansea College, I went to the University of Nottingham to study French, German and Spanish and graduated in 2001 with a 2:1 in Modern Foreign Languages with a distinction in French.

In 2003 I returned to my studies to do a PGCE in Post Compulsory Education at the Institute of Education so I specialise in teaching students aged 16-18 and adult learners. Since 2004, I have been teaching French and ESOL (English as a Second Language)at Uxbridge College and am the Curriculum Manager for ESOL students aged 16-18 years old.

Experience: I have been teaching ESOL and French since 2003 and can help you whether you are a beginner or advanced. In the first lesson, we will discuss what you would especially like to focus on (pronunciation / vocabulary / grammar / reading / writing / speaking ... or perhaps all of these!) and after that I will tailor-make the lessons for you. Having studied French at university, we can also look at French literature and French history if you would like.
