Gillian

I am an experienced, retired teacher. I have a Master`s degree in Education, a BA Honours Degree in European Studies, a Diploma in Home Economics, and a Certificate in Education. I am also a qualified BTEC assessor, having the certificates D31 and D 32.

My final school-based post was as Head of Year in a 13 - 18 Suffolk High School, where I was employed for 10 years.

During the past year, I have successfully tutored 7 students in Maths and English (up to GCSE level). I am also qualified to teach German and Child Development.
My most recent student achieved a B in his English exam, having struggled through with a D in the past.

As part of the various degrees I have studied, I am also able to teach sociology, and basic psychology.

I have recently tutored a young lad throughout years 10 and 11, studying German. I was his only tutor, as he couldn`t fit this into his school timetable. I am very pleased to report that he got a `9` in the recent results.

Although my given name is Gillian, I prefer to be called GILL, please, otherwise I may think I have done something wrong!!

Availability: I do not to work on a Friday.
