Maths is so much more than just substituting values into formulas. Maths is about solving problems and understanding the best (or most efficient) way to approach the problem. Although the "how" is important in Maths, that is, how do I use the formula to get the answer, the "why" that is, (why does this formula work) should be equally important. I teach my students in the way that they gain the confidence in "how" to use the formulas and the some! :-) even get the interest to want to understand the "why".

My name is Biggi and I work as a Maths teacher in Warwick. I have had passion for Maths and how it can be applied to solve problems from young age. I moved to England in 2010 and worked in the Pharmaceutical industry for few years. Since 2015, I have been working as a Secondary School teacher and I`m loving it.
My background is business, finance and economics which allows me to bring fresh and interesting perspective of how we can use Maths to solve every day problems.

Availability: After school: Tue, Wed (after 5pm)
