I am a fully qualified English teacher of language and literature for KS3/4 students. I have taught in a variety Secondary schools in Huddersfield. My passion for teaching started, whilst I was at school and I thoroughly enjoy working with young people.

Currently, my focus is working as a private tutor, primarily, for KS3/4 students in the Kirklees area. In schools and privately, I have been honoured to work with some amazing people. To witness the progress, hear of the positive praise and great achievements that ones are making really encourages me to give more.

I have successfully supported students in achieving grade 6 and above via Skype and share resources through private platforms online.

I create all of my own resources to equip students with exam techniques for the new 9-1 GCSE in English Language and Literature exams. This bank includes checklists, examiner expectations, key terminology explanations, writing frames, hints and tips and close reading worksheets for literary texts. My resources are differentiated to support students sitting their exam with Edexcel and AQA (I do teach to other exam boards too).
