I`m a former History teacher and Head of Humanities with a wide range of experience. I build strong relationships with students of all ages and abilities, through humour, praise and challenge. A love of learning is one of the most satisfying things in life and is the best motivator a student can have. I will regularly ask for feedback from students and parents to ensure the best possible experience and value for money.

Availability: Monday-Thursdays 10am-8pm
Fridays 10am-5pm

Experience: I have 15 years teaching experience in inner city and suburban schools, as well as privately tutoring. As Head of Humanities I have excellent experience of raising educational achievement, even outside of my areas of specialism. My GCSE and A Level results were regularly in the top 10% of the country, and my tutees last year all achieved top grades. Most of my A Level students went on to study at Russell Group universities, and others to Oxbridge. I have excellent knowledge of all the major exam boards and have taught a wide range of specifications. I am also an examiner for Edexcel, AQA and OCR at GCSE and A Level.
