Information about Damon
Damon is a saxophonist, clarinettist and flautist living and working in London. He has performed at venues across the UK, including the Royal Albert Hall with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, Ronnie Scott`s Jazz Club, Vortex Jazz Club and The Sage Gateshead. He also works as a session musician, recently recording with the Spike Orchestra for their next album, as well as work for radio and television.
Born in Poole (UK), Damon has been involved in music from the age of twelve and in 2012 moved to London to study saxophone at the Royal College of Music where he graduated with First Class Honours on a Joint Principle Jazz and Classical Music Course. He subsequently undertook a Masters of Arts (Jazz Performance) Degree at the Royal Academy of Music, graduating in July 2019, where he was supported by a Royal Academy of Music Scholarship, The Countess of Munster Musical Trust and St. Marylebone Musical Trust.
