Having gone through the 11+ grammar testing in Kent, I am aware of how daunting it can be. I have a passion to support children with giving them the confidence, skills and knowledge to prepare them for the future. I currently work 1:1 with young people giving them Careers Education, Advice and Guidance about their post 16 options. I have the personal qualities, skills, experience and qualifications to tutor children and young people effectively.

Availability: Evenings and weekends

Experience: I have a 2:1 BA (Hons) degree in English, I have 11 years of experience working with children and young people in 1:1 and group settings. I have also taught English to foreign students and tailored lessons according to level and topic. My NVQ 4 in Advice and Guidance has enabled me to work in a person centred way, meaning I always try and get to the bottom of the support that is required. My tutoring style is to give the tools, skills and confidence required for the child/young person to become an independent learner.
