I am an experienced and Estyn graded excellent chartered Science teacher who has trained and worked at Cardiff High School and has now been seconded to become lecturer at Cardiff University lecturing on the Masters in Educational Practice while completing my Doctorate. I am a WJEC examiner and very experiences in the marking of GCSE and A-level exams and this knowledge is vital in supporting the learning and exam technique of students. I taught Science at Cardiff high for 5 years teaching Biology and Chemistry up to GCSE and A-level, and have been tutoring for 10 years with considerable success. I am friendly and make students feel at ease with complex topics, and have had a lot of success in supporting students a t all levels. I have much experience in helping students achieve their goals and was a Y11,12 and 13 form tutor so I am very familiar with the UCAS process and assisting with personal statements as required.
I am completing my doctorate in Education as well which has a focus on supporting the learning of students. I have an MA in Education, PG. Diploma in Medical Toxicology, PG. Diploma in Management, PG. Diploma in Construction and Engineering, BSc (HONS) Medical Pharmacology.
