I have an Honours degree from University College Dublin in Modern Languages: Spanish & French. I have been living and working in the U.K. for thirty years where I have taught Spanish in both state and independent schools.

Experience: The majority of my career has been in the independent sector. During my time at King`s, Canterbury, I taught Spanish to students aged 13 to 18, of all abilities. Throughout this time, my GCSE and A-level results were extremely impressive due, in part, to my rigorous, enthusiastic, and encouraging approach to teaching a subject for which I feel great passion. At Headington, I taught Spanish across the age range (including I.B.) and my students were very happy with their achievements. My I.B. results were very impressive, enabling all my students gain their first choice of university. I have also worked as a GCSE examiner for WJEC, an experience which has without doubt, enhanced my skill in preparing my students for those all-important examinations.
