Hi, I`m Chris! I am a classroom teacher and senior leader with ten years experience in primary education. I absolutely love teaching and private tutoring as it enables me to support dedicated and determined pupils on a 1-2-1 or small group basis away from the external pressures of the classroom. My sessions are focused but relaxed with an emphasis on repetition and developing confidence in the application and understanding of the key concepts being taught. I have QTS status and have developed a rich knowledge of the national curriculum with a particular strength in English and Mathematics.

For the past two years, I have offered my services as a private tutor. I am happy to travel for in person sessions or run activities and session via Teams. Sessions can last between 45 minutes and 90 minutes depending on your need. I have experience in providing KS1 and KS2 curriculum catch up support, KS2 SATs preparation, 11+ preparation and KS3 curriculum catch up. In addition, I can provide guidance and support in reading and creative writing.
