Jasmine

Hi, I`m Jasmine! I am a recent graduate from the University of Manchester. This summer I received a First Class Honours degree in Mathematics and am hoping to enter the technology sector in the coming years. I am keen to help improve the understanding of maths for young people and ensure they don`t fall behind during the pandemic. I have experience with 1-1 tutoring as well as classes of up to 7, both online and in person and managed to significantly improve my students` understanding of maths during these roles. I am confident that I will also be able to increase interest in the subject. I am a friendly person, if you have any questions feel free to ask me.

Availability: My availability is flexible, after school hours/weekends and evenings work well for me but times outside of these will be considered.

Experience: From 2016-2017 I tutored up to 4 students a week all at varying levels and abilities of maths, ranging from year 6 SATs to GCSEs. I achieved a substantial progress with every student and feel I left them with a much better understanding of the subjects content than they had had previously.

I was a Peer Assisted Study Leader at University which involved weekly hour long sessions with first year students to help them with their workload.
