Information about James
Hi there, I currently study Mathematics at the University of Chester. I received a first is in my second year. I am now in my final year. I`m happy to show you different techniques to improve your Mathematics. I can teach Mathematics from Primary level all the way up to A-Level
Availability: I`m available on Wednesdays after 2, and I`m free all day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Willing to travel: 2 miles
Experience: In Mathematics I have achieved an A at GCSE level, an A in Mathematics A-Level, and an A in further Mathematics. I have been tutoring for 3 months so far, and everyone that I have taught has improved dramatically.

My daughter only went once to the tutor so with the fee for the agency it was very expensive, I felt the tutor should have offered an introductory rate for the first lesson which did not go well, my daughter felt uncomfortable and did not feel that the tutor had prepared for the session, in fact the tutor admitted he was not up to date with the current A level syllabus

Hi Susan,
I apologise that looked like that was the case. I have many years experience which includes a First Class Honours in Mathematics Degree and a First Class Masters in Mathematics, but you have to understand that I have not covered every piece of maths recently - the logarithmic functions and many other topics discussed were covered 5 years ago when I was in sixth form and I was not informed of what she was struggling with beforehand, so there was no way of me preparing for this.
I`m sorry you are unhappy and not continuing Gemma`s tutoring but I hope you and Gemma find success in the future. I will take your comments onboard and will use them to move forward in my tutoring.

James is an excellent tutor and explains things very well and keeps their interest. My youngest son said he was awesome. You can`t get a better recommendation than that.

My Son as been having extra tutoring from James know for about 4 weeks He has made kai learn to understand Mathematics, James is really positive and encourages my son to call him as well when he sets little home work tasks so kai remains focus when doing his maths work, my son says that James is really supportive and encourages you to maintain focused when learning you maths key stage 3 I would highly recommend James as he has helped build my sons confidences in mathematics.
