I summarise my aim below:

Equip pupils with the self-discipline, confidence and work ethic required to succeed in life.

YES I make sure pupils are ready to pass their 11+ / SATs assessments, but my experience has taught me it is important to set the bar high, and my approach looks far beyond the next three years for your child.

It is widely understood that the development years for key traits such as self-discipline / work ethic are between 5 – 10 years. My lessons capitalise on tried and tested techniques such as repetition, positive reinforcement and ambitious targets to make sure pupils are always one step ahead. With these skills developed at a young age, I have every confidence that my pupils have a head start in succeeding at secondary school and going on to build a successful career!

Alongside engaged teaching and relevant resources, I pride myself on creating an open environment for pupils to build their confidence in the Maths and (spoken / written) English.

Availability: Weekends. Weekdays available but only for home tutoring (can be discussed!)

Experience: 3 - 4 years Maths and English (7 - 11 years) and Economics A-Level tutoring.
