I completred my degree in Envoronmental Sciences at Hatfield Polytechnic, now the University of Hertfordshire, followed by a PGCE at the University of Bath.

I taught at Frammlingham College, in Suffolk, for five years and then at Shrewsbury School . Whilst at Shrewsbury I had a variety of teaching, pastoral and mannagemnt roles.

Experience: I have had over 35 yearsexperience of teaching biology, most recently at Shrewsbury School.I have always taught in schools with a sixth form so have taught both A level and GCSE. I have taught a number of different syllabuses and exam boards and, until last summer, I was an examiner fir the WJECBiology A level, and an inspector/moderator for the A level practical exammination. I have sound IT skills and communicate well with students.
