Experience: I have tutored and taught at university level, Giving essay surgery sessions to students.
My experience in teaching children started on voluntary projects I undertook in orphanages in India and Romania. In India I was teaching Maths while also directing a production of the Merchant of Venice with a cast made up of the children.
Getting young people to understand and engage with Shakespeare is really important to me. I believe that interpreting Shakespeare and uncovering what his works can tell us about the complexity of human nature can unlock the potential in young people to develop their own communication skills. Becoming interested in Shakespeare led me to start writing scri pts and I`m developing a film scri pt as a result of that passion. This passion I channel into my teaching and aim to pass that inspiration on to any child.
