I am a Secondary Mathematics Education graduate with over 11 years of teaching experience, 10 of which have been in a highly reputable inner London school. My degree is unique and gave me the opportunity to study maths and secondary education simultaneously.
I have taught a wide range of abilities and had the chance to develop different ways to teach and tutor maths.
I adapt my approach depending on the individual and using my expertise, will work with you to try and achieve whatever long or short term targets you may have.
I have a particular passion and interest in teaching and tutoring those who find maths challenging. This includes pupils who may be on the cusp of getting a pass grade at GCSE and require tutoring to boost their understanding and therefore their results.

Availability: Wednesdays-Fridays after 17:30 and weekends with some flexibility rest of the week.

Experience: I have over 10 years experience teaching mathematics across all year groups (year 7 to year 13) at secondary level with class sizes and abilities varying year on year.
My teaching career saw the change from letter grades at GCSE to number grades. With this came a new syllabus and a “new style” of exam questions. This has allowed me to appreciate the differences between the “old style” exam questions and the GCSE course we see now which encourages depth of understanding. As a result, I have a lot of experience teaching from a rote learning perspective as well as for problem-solving skills and deep understanding.
