Hello, thank you for visiting my profile. I am a qualified secondary mathematics teacher, currently working in a large, mainstream secondary school. I teach mathematics to students from 11 - 16, but I am qualified to teach up to A Level.

Over the past 5 years, I have gained experience in working with students from the ages of 6 to 18. I have supported students with achieving their goals; be it entrance examinations, GCSE`s or A Level`s. I have worked with students across the field. I have worked extensively with students who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), and students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH).

I firmly believe that no two students are the same, and so the approach in teaching each student must be altered to fit the students. Too often, students are expected to fit the confinements of a rigid educational structure. I believe that tutoring should do the opposite. Tutors should meet the needs of the students.

Experience: I have been tutoring privately for around 5 years now - from Key Stage 1 through to A Level. In this time, I have assisted the learning of many students, as well as preparing them for examinations, and ultimately, helping them to gain the grades they deserve.

I am a qualified secondary teacher - qualified to teach Mathematics to students up to the age of 18. I am also currently working in a large secondary school in the Manchester area - teaching students from years 7 to 11.
