Hello! My name is Phil and I am an A-Level and GCSE Maths and Physics tutor. I am currently pursuing a degree in Physics at the University of Bristol. I have always enjoyed my maths and physics lessons as I find them to be insightful and fulfilling; this is a feeling that I want to do my best to pass on to my students.

Having completed year 13 and my first year of university amidst a pandemic, I am familiar with how challenging these conditions can make learning. Not only this, but I have learned my way around both teachings and learning via online platforms that have made me particularly empathetic, adept and capable of keeping class interesting even when it is online.

Outside academics, I enjoy watching basketball and cooking food for myself and my friends.

Availability: I am flexible with my availabilities, free to teach on most days and evenings apart from Mondays. Please message me about any enquiries you may have!

Experience: Thus far, I’ve tutored 30 to 40 students in both maths and physics across multiple platforms. Through this, I have built a wide range of techniques and skills to help my students gain a deeper understanding of the content and improve their skills in their subject of choice. I have worked with students aiming at all different targets in their subjects and exam boards.

I also have a DBS certificate and have completed professional training with MyTutor in order to teach both maths and physics.
