I love helping children achieve their potential. I have many years experiencing teaching in primary school across the KS2 range and use a wide range of approaches and teaching styles to cater for my pupils. Children learn best when they are motivated ,energised and have a good bond with their tutor.
I am flexible and happy to teach Maths, English , homework help and work from 11 plus materials.
Be it English, Maths, SATS, homework help or assistance with 11 plus exam materials, I am happy to discuss and tailor a plan to meet your needs and requirements.

Experience: Experienced classroom teacher specialising in years 3-6.

Cath has been a wonderful tutor for our daughter. Cath has successfully boosted her confidence as well as developing and broadening her skills in English and maths prior to year 6 SAT tests. I can not recommend her highly enough.

Cath has put my son at ease and helped him come on leaps and bounds preparing him for the Sats. Every lesson has been catered to my sons needs and Cath makes the lesson instructive and fun, so much so that my son looks forward to the next lesson. I would highly recommend Cath for home tutoring.

I wouldn`t hesitate to recommend Cath as a home tutor. She made my daughter feel at ease from the 1st session, finding out all about her and also telling her about herself. She has helped my daughter with her school work and we have seen her confidence and skills grow. Cath makes the sessions fun and informative and my daughter looks forward to her coming every week.
She is very reliable and an excellent tutor.
