Information about Natasha

*UPDATE* 13th Aug 2020: I understand this year has seen many students disappointed with their A Level results. If you are visiting this page because you require help with Autumn resits, please get in touch ASAP and we can come up with a solution and timetable that works for you.

Hi, I`m Natasha. Thank you for visiting my site! I teach A Level Philosophy and Religious Studies on a private 1:1 basis, having previously taught the AQA and Eduqas specification within an Ofsted rated Outstanding college.

I have ten years worth of experience centred around Philosophy and RS. These subjects enchanted me whilst studying both during my own A Levels, prior to completing a Philosophy degree at King`s College London.

It is my purpose and passion to facilitate others` understanding of philosophical issues, covering need-to-know topics on the syllabus, and providing a wider context from which they can be better analysed and evaluated. We can also focus on essay writing, one of the mysterious but crucial components of A Level. With correct coaching and continued practice, this skill will develop and once it clicks, you`ll wander why it seemed elusive.

A recurring frustration students express with such abstract ideas is `Well this is interesting, but how is it relevant to life?`. A fair question indeed... I believe that to get the most out of Philosophy, it`s important to draw parallels with ancient and modern thought. The application of ideas is always there - sometimes only subtly - and together we can untangle some of the complexity and find sense in the confusion.
