After completing my masters degree in Biomedical Engineering I have spent the past 3 years tutoring full time. This means that I have masters level experience in biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics, as well as a flawless GCSE and A Level record. I`ve always had a passion for teaching, and find it to be a hugely rewarding to see students progress. I`m a sociable and engaging teacher, and I see patience as the key to teaching, as I myself struggled with various concepts throughout my education and believe slow but steady is the way forwards.
Availability: I currently teach primarily on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings (online only). Please reach out if you’d like to discuss other options!

My daughter is very much enjoying her A-Level Maths tutoring with Filippa. My daughter comes out of each session with a renewed level of confidence in the subject covered which is encouraging to see. Filippa has been very responsive in setting up the initial session and continuing weekly sessions, and she is flexible in being able to work through the subjects that are in need of prioritisation. I would not hesitate to recommend her to other parents / students.
