I am a qualified and experienced Primary School teacher currently residing in West Wales. I have been class based for 13 years but I also have experience of 1 to 1 and small group tutoring. During this time, I have taught in all Primary year groups, ranging from Foundation Stage to Year 6. I am happy to carry out online or face to face tutoring.

I believe that every child is unique with different needs and so my aim is to build a rapport with children in order to fully assess and understand the best way to move them forward. I love being creative and it is very important to me that I learn about your child’s interests so that I can use this to fully engage them in my lessons. For example, I have used Harry Potter, Dinosaurs and Star Wars to create writing opportunities in my English and Maths lessons. I believe that if a child enjoys their learning, then they will make fantastic progress.

I’d love to talk to you about your child’s needs and get an understanding of what you would like from your tutoring sessions with me. I am here to fill in any gaps in your child’s learning, provide them with a confidence boost, prepare them for SATS or, with the current situation, assist you with home schooling needs.

Experience: PGCE in Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status.
13 years of classroom based teaching within Primary Schools (teaching children from Foundation to Year 6)
