Joanna

My name is Joanna, I come from Poland. I was a maths teacher in Poland for a few years. I also work as a private maths tutor in Poland (I prepared pupils for GCSE level and A level) and my students were very happy with my way of teaching. I came to England in 2014 and I worked as a shop assistant first to improve my English. Now I work as a 1:1 learning support assistant in the special school in Leigh and I work with children with SEN. I live in Lowton with my partner. I like to work with children, that was always my passion.

Experience: I am a qualified Maths Teacher (TRN: 1571572) and I can teach Mathematics from KS1 to A level. I was a Maths Teacher in Poland, I also work as a Maths Tutor for a few years. I have experience in work with children with SEN (I am working as 1:1 TA now in the special school). I have my own methods and scenarios to teach Maths in interesting way. I always have individual approach because every kid is different and has individual needs. I always try to meet pupil`s needs and do everything to show him/her that Mathematics can be really nice and easy.
