I am an experienced Sociology tutor with strong experience in data analytics, research and statistics.

I hold a First-Class Sociology BSocSc (Honours) and I am completing a MSc Economics and Finance Masters at Kings College London. A first-class sociology degree and a dissertation score of 86 reflects my ability to apply my skill set. University enabled me to maximise my qualitative/quantitative skills through utilising rigorous forms of analysis and presenting my findings in a coherent manner.

Availability: I am available in the weekdays after school and anytime during the weekends.

Experience: In 2022-2023, I bolstered the achievement of 6 A-Level Sociology students (ages 16-18) in weekly 1hr sessions. This entailed teaching topics in: Education, Crime and Deviance, Families and Households, Theory and Methods, Beliefs in Society and more!

Firstly, I gained an insight into my students’ strengths and weaknesses. This allowed me to produce a comprehensive plan to target the areas that required improvements. I also produce my own PowerPoints and notes. Such information is informative, topical and in line with the specification of the exam board. Through also teaching A/A* exam techniques and creating effective essay plans, my students are provided with the skills and knowledge to acquire top marks.

I have also utilised my sociological skills within reputable organisations. This includes, The Department for Education and Elekta where my data manipulation skills, ability to work with statistical software and develop recommendations/strategies from my analysis was strong.
