Information about Luke
I am hard-working, patient, and enthusiastic about working with children and young adults. I have always been passionate about education and learning, and ensure my tutoring sessions are engaging and enjoyable. I have previously worked full-time as a care worker, which allowed me to develop excellent organisational and communication skills, and I have previously volunteered as part of a befriending scheme for people with multiple sclerosis. These experiences alongside my course ward placements have enabled me to work comfortably with people from a variety of backgrounds and academic abilities.
I graduated from the University of Bristol in Cellular and Molecular Medicine in 2014, and I am now in my third year of Graduate Entry Medicine at Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry.
Availability: I am available to teach at the weekends and then after the 9th of Decemeber my availability will increase to weekdays. I am available to tutor in person or via Skype depending on your preferences.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: Throughout my four years at university, I received highly positive feedback from my peers about my ability to explain topics clearly and simply. I was subsequently asked to tutor students in lower years of my course who were struggling with specific parts of the degree. I greatly enjoyed these sessions, and they have allowed me to develop a comprehensive and structured way of delivering and consolidating concepts at a range of difficulties.
