I аm a qualified and experienced primary school teacher who has tаught across KS1 аnd KS2,and have been an UKS2 teacher for the last 3 years.

Maths is a subject I am extremely passionate about and am currently leading new initiatives in my school with great success as a subject leader. I have attended many courses regarding the teaching and learning of the subject, including an understanding of the Singapore curriculum, and am able to effectively support all children using a variety of strategies and resources appropriate to their stage of development and learning needs.


Whether your children requires additional support in a given area of their learning, or is seeking additional challenge to achieve understanding at greater depth, I can offer tailored support.

I utilise a range of high quality resources which encourage quality maths talk and equip children with a range of skills to tackle problems with increased confidence. As well as this, I adapt my approach and resources to meet the interests of individuals where ever possible providing a supportive and encouraging environment.

Availability: Weekdаys- аll times during holidays. Weekend sessiоns mаy be аvаilаble during term time.

Experience: I am qualified teacher currently working in UKS2 and therefore have a secure understanding of the demands of the new curriculum.

Recent training within my subject has deepened my knowledge of effective strategies used worldwide to encourage problem solving reasoning and fluency within our children. I have implemented many of these strategies with hugely positive impact across my school and have used them successfully to tutor children in preparation for their Year 6 SATs.

Maths has always been a particular passion of my own and I believe I have a strong subject knowledge as well as pedagogical knowledge having achieved a Maths A Level and specialised in the teaching of the subject during my teacher training.
