Hi! My name is Lucy, I am an A-level Biology tutor in the Liverpool area.
Availability: I am available Tuesday and Wednesday evenings after 7pm.
Willing to travel: 3 miles
Experience: A-level Biology teacher, currently teaching the AQA specification at a 6th form college. I also have experience teaching undergraduates, GCSE Biology and KS3 Sciences. I hold a PhD in Life Sciences Research and a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from The University of Sheffield. My research projects have focused on Microbiology and Cell Biology in the context of Infection and Immunity and Cardiovascular Disease.

Lucy has been tutoring our daughter for A level biology for a number of weeks now. She has listened and tailored sessions around specific needs and gaps in understanding to support learning and assessments in school. There is always a clear plan at the start of the lesson, but Lucy has been able to adapt the lesson when needed with short notice. Lucy is calm and patient. Our daughters confidence and understanding is improving, and Lucy has been key in this. I would be more than happy to recommend Lucy to anyone looking for a tutor for A level biology
