I am a Chemistry (Honours) graduate from Loughborough University and I also have a masters degree in Chemistry from Kingston University and another masters degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Aston, Birmingham. I also have excellent grades in Physics, Chemistry, and Double Maths at A levels. I have worked in industry for 25 years and a key skill I have developed is that of mentoring young people to reach their potential.

I have over 10 years experience of tutoring at GCSE, A Level and 16 years at University level. I prepare students both for GCSE and A Levels examinations administered by the three main examining boards in England, namely, Aqa, OCR and Edexcel. I tutor from home and only take on a very limited number of students so that I can give my full attention to their examination success. I have tutored students who have been deemed not to be high achievers by their schools, but have subsequently gone on to gaining A grades at GCSE and A levels. I am highly motivated and nothing gives greater pleasure than to get letters from students thanking me for helping them to gain examination success. I tutor from home as I have found students perform best in this situation and I also have access to all my teaching resources as necessary to tailor each lesson to suit a particular students needs. I don`t teach face to face.
