I`m a friendly former Secondary School teacher who is genuinely enthusiastic about helping pupils to achieve their best. I always try to bring some fun and humour to lessons to help engage pupils with the subject matter.

Experience: I have a BA Honours degree (2:1) in English Literature from the University of East Anglia.

I trained as a Secondary English teacher at the University of Reading (PGCE), achieving Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and graduating as `Distinction` in my teaching practice.

I taught English (Language and Literature) to all year groups (Yr 7 to Yr 13) at a Secondary school in Berkshire before moving to Somerset.

I have taught many children of all ages, Primary and Secondary, in my five years as a Learning Manager in heritage education, creating learning programmes across England in a variety of heritage settings.

I began working as a private tutor in 2020.
