Information about Emily
I am a Geology Student at the University of Birmingham, currently on a year out after completing my 2nd year, before my international year which was delayed due to COVID. I`m committed to high-quality teaching tailored to the individual, whilst being friendly and approachable. I take an individual approach to each student and can adapt my teaching style to the student`s needs. I generally enjoy teaching in an interactive way, emphasising a 2-way discussion as we go through content. I provide weekly interactive PowerPoints, in addition to well-thought through homework which we can review during the following session. I am passionate about Geography and Science which makes my teaching style more engaging for students.

Experience: I have work experience teaching in a primary school, and I have tutored one A-Level and one GCSE level student previously. Whilst studying for my A-Levels I helped with teaching year 7 English lessons.
