I believe that private tuition can help children to succeed and achieve at school and also prepares them for their further learning. Working at different schools enabled me to gain diverse experience and to appreciate the needs of all children. It also helped me to develop my own philosophy of education. I strongly believe that teachers should strive to include and have high expectations of all children, regardless of their background, ability and language.

I have a thorough knowledge of the new National Curriculum as my current job requires me to teach different year groups across the school. I always strive to plan learning activities that are fun and exciting for the children as I believe that they learn best when they are engaged.

Experience: I have been working in a primary school setting for the past 8 years. I have worked with both KS1 and KS2 children. I supported children who speak Engh as an additional language, SEN children and also year 6 children preparing for their SATs. I have a degree in Engh literature (2:1) and also PGCE (Primary).

I also have 6 years of experience working as a 1:1 tutor.
