A hardworking, motivated and experienced ex-Head of Key Stage 3 English who has taught for various exam boards and is an Examiner for AQA English Literature.

Availability: Available evenings and weekends.
There is a possibility for sessions during the week, but these are limited and may not be guaranteed.

Experience: Qualified English Teacher and ex-Head of Key Stage 3 English with 8years of teaching experience. All sessions can be adapted to meet the students’ individual needs to ensure that good and steady progress is made. Students will be given ample stretch and challenge tasks within sessions to allow them to exceed school target grades, and homework is set accordingly. Currently working in a FE college in Birmingham. Subject knowledge is up to date, with ongoing active participation in training sessions to enhance the quality of session content. Deep and secure subject knowledge of KS3 and KS4 curriculums. Also, able to provide additional help with essay writing (at any level - GCSE to Degree), spelling, punctuation and grammar.
