As a tutor, I strive to make learning engaging and fun and have a demonstrated history of helping my students achieve top grades in their science examinations. I ensure that all of my students have a comprehensive and robust understanding of the key scientific phenomenon as well as the necessary exam skills to achieve highly in assessments.

I hold a doctorate in Aerospace Propulsion at Cranfield University. I also hold a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Aerospace Engineering (double first). I am a gold medallist in mathematics at the International Mathematics Olympiad with my global ranking being 192. Apart from that, I have also achieved A+ grades in both GCSE and A levels with exceptional performance in mathematics. My interest areas for tutoring include Mathematics for all students of both the GCSE and A levels. I also tutor undergraduate and master’s students in mechanical and aerospace engineering. I offer to tutor in both one to one basis and also to a group up to 5 students at a time. I have been giving lessons to GCSE and A levels students for the past year with the total number of students being around 6 all of whom have achieved good grades.

Experience: I have been tutoring and teaching experience from GCSE to degree level in maths, and further maths, both one-one and to small groups over the past five years.

The key to the success of my tutees is ensuring they develop a deep understanding of scientific phenomena and adopt appropriate study habits to support their learning. I rely upon tried and tested pedagogical techniques to deepen understanding and aid memory in preparation for final. Many students struggle with mathematics having wrote learnt techniques or formulae without understanding what they are using. Understanding the underlying principles behind useful formulae: reduces the need for memorising, allows for more competent use and more general application. Not only that but, naturally it is a more enjoyable and rewarding way to learn. Tutoring offers the opportunity for students to ask questions where they might not have had the opportunity in class and can get answers as part of a discussion.
