I am a friendly teacher and a VERY experienced marker. I can help you tweak your answers to get the highest grades. I love to teach Biology!

I am English - my GCSEs, A-Levels, degree and teaching qualification (PGCE) are all from England. In my last role 95% of my students got an A or A* (an 8 or a 9).

I am happy to adjust my teaching methods to suit your needs. I have a lot of experience of working with students with SEN and English as a second language (EAL).

I offer the perfect balance of enthusiasm, expertise, and personalised attention. I create an engaging and interactive environment, incorporating games, multimedia, and real-life examples to make learning enjoyable. I leverage vast experience as an examiner to provide valuable insights and tips to help students excel in their studies. I foster open communication, actively listening to students` needs, and tailoring the session to unique learning styles. This instills confidence, encourages active participation, and inspires a genuine love for learning.


I have helped numerous students craft personal statements to help them gain offers to Oxbridge and other RG universities and gain places for Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Science programmes. I love to see their posts on LinkedIn as they finish their courses and start work!

I will help you make the connections across different areas of the course so that you really understand what you are learning about.

After each session I will send you all of the resources we used in the session (two sets - one blank and one annotated with our notes), so that you can review them as many times as you like. I love to mark practice papers so I am happy to set extra questions and mark them.

I have a Zoom professional licence so I can offer one hour lessons if needed.

Availability: I am available throughout the day and the evening Tuesday - Thursday. For one off sessions I may have other slots available, please contact me for more information.
