Hi, everyone!
My name is Vanessa and I`m a qualified Spanish teacher. I`m teaching one-to-one and small groups in London, overall in the East End. I also teach groups in an adult school.

I`m a Spanish native who have completed both Training Course for Spanish Teachers of Children and Graduate Certificate in Spanish Language Teaching to Adults at Roehampton University and Instituto Cervantes (London).

Lessons are interactive, well organized and always cover the four communicative skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. I tailor the lessons according to my students` interests and needs, overall if they`re adults. We`ll plan your goal and work towards it together.

Lessons are based on the communicative approach, which means that you`ll be learning useful structures, verbs, vocabulary, etc, but they`ll never be just grammar based or with a lot of information to memorise. Their aim will always be to turn you into an independent/autonomous speaker in real situations.

I like to use a mix of resources, ranging from the latest published manuals in Spanish teaching to real events materials (newspaper, TV, websites, songs, movies, etc). You will be learning from the most up to date text books combined with interactive exercises and an approachable teacher. I also provide self-study materials.

Conversation lessons also available.

Keen of working with all ages, from kids to adults. Teaching all levels: A-level, GCSE, DELE, etc.

My rates start at £5 an hour.
