Information about Andrew
Hi, I`m Andrew. I`m a Maths tutor, and a Maths and Music graduate from the University of Edinburgh.
Outside of academia, I enjoy composing music and cycling.
The real reason I studied maths is because I enjoy it. Solving problems is one of the most satisfying feelings in my opinion. I believe that the reason I feel this way about maths is because I was very lucky to have a string of great teachers who have made the subject interesting for me - I hope to pass that on to all of my students.
Exams can take the life out of maths for lots of people. I want to help maintain your interest for maths whilst preparing for the exam effectively.
Availability: I am available to tutor during the following times. Please get in touch if any of these suit you!
Monday: 12pm-6:15pm
Tuesday: 9am-9pm
Wednesday: 9am-9pm
Thursday: 9am-3pm
Willing to travel: 15 miles
Experience: My first experience of teaching was in the RAF cadets teaching the younger cadets syllabus content.
I have also captained two sports at school. In this role I was responsible for coaching the sport to other members of the clubs. Now I work as a coach for one of these sports
I started tutoring A level and GCSE maths from the beginning of October 2020. As of now, I have around 1300 hours of tutoring experience.

We are ever so grateful in finding Andrew as Music tutor on Tutor Hunt. Superb young lad that took my daughter virtually under his musical wings and guided her through the myriad of GCSE music theory she was struggling with. Andrew provided the missing links and gave her the confidence as she moved from a grade 6 to grade 8 contention.
