I am a friendly, enthusiastic Maths teacher with over eight years experience teaching at one of the largest and most successful schools in Norfolk. I have a calm and personable nature and take great satisfaction in helping people. Outside of teaching, my passions are surfing, football and playing music. I also love to travel!

Experience: I have worked at a large comprehensive school for over eight years, teaching all levels and abilities from years 7-13. I have successfully taught a range of exam classes, intervention groups and delivered revision sessions to all ages. I have a good working knowledge of the new maths GCSE, having taught a grade 4/5 borderline class last academic year, rewriting a scheme of work in the process. At school, my other roles have included that of whole school numeracy coordinator and maths curriculum strategist. I`ve always had good relationships with my classes and enjoy seeing them succeed. Having successfully tutored students from a wide range of backgrounds, I believe I have a good understanding of what makes tutoring a positive experience for those involved. My philosophy is to develop a strong rapport with my tutees, creating an environment where it`s OK to make mistakes, with misconceptions being discussed and addressed openly. I look to use engaging and interactive resources throughout my sessions, encouraging perseverance and resilience throughout. My sessions will be tailored to the tutees needs, ensuring the best possible progress is made. My aim is to help you become a more confident, independent learner and ultimately achieve your goals. I`ve always had good relationships with my classes and enjoy seeing them succeed.
