I have been teaching to children in primary school. For children, courses is made around games, drawings, role play for each topics.
For students from secondary school, I introduce a part of theory and a large part of training lessons. I insist a lot about the grammar and the accentuation. I give vocabularies around a topic. For students in advanced level, I teach them some techniques how to analyze, to sum up a text, an audio document, or a video.
I use different media: books, audio-visual documents, newspapers, games. For tutoring to be effective, it is essential that a link be established between the tutor and the student. The guardian’s approach must be qualified according to the need and the particular difficulties of the student.
