Information about Abhay
I am a graduate of Durham University where I studied Accounting and Finance, after which I studied the Graduate Diploma in Law, a qualifying law conversion course.
After graduating with both qualifications, I started working in the world of Finance and have been pursuing my ACCA qualifications whilst working full time.
Availability: I am available on weekends or late evenings after work. For best practice however, weekends are preferable.
Willing to travel: 8 miles
Experience: I have experience tutoring a range of subjects whilst at University including Chemistry where I used a range of methods to help students achieve A grades in their GCSE from a predicted grade of Cs and Ds.
I also have experience through volunteering/mentorship and online classes teaching Economics and Maths at GCSE and A Level.
My tutoring methods involve classes and open dialogue available via email to answer questions. Depending on the topic, notes are also provided and homework questions too. A clear effort is also made to focus on the tutee`s problem areas and work through questions and notes together.
