I provide friendly, professional tuition for children and adults in English, language and literature, as well as English as a foreign language.

I can help you improve English skills or overall attainment in school or college, or work towards specific exams or qualifications, such as SATs, GCSEs or Cambridge qualifications. Alternatively you may want to simply immerse yourself in fascinating literature and poetry, or have some guidance with your own creative writing. As my tuition is tailor-made for every student, I can help with any specific area you would like to focus on, or adapt to any particular educational need. I am happy to provide materials or my own course of study, for example for home-schooled children, or to support your school work.

Experience: I`m a qualified teacher with 7 years experience in secondary education in Cornwall and 4 years of experience in teaching English as a foreign language to children and adults. I have extensive experience in teaching students with special educational needs and of all abilities. I completed my teacher training at Cornwall SCITT. My academic background is in linguistics and literature to masters level.
