I am a fully qualified English Teacher with 7 years of teaching experience within secondary education in two Sheffield schools. Previously, I worked in an unqualified teaching role for five years which gives me a wealth of knowledge of young people and the educational system.

My degree is in English Literature but am trained in teaching both Literature and Language to an excellent standard. Additionally, having experience of teaching English Literature at A-Level, means that I am willing to support students at KS5 if required.

With a friendly, professional and relaxed approach, I am looking to offer one to one support with all elements of the English Curriculum @KS3 and 4 (and will consider A level- depending on the units studied), whether that is to brush up on literacy skills, get to grips with 19th century texts or English heritage poetry, or go over exam skills and strategies.

Currently I am a Team Leader and Examiner for AQA exam board in English Literature GCSE.

Availability: Most evenings after 5pm and will consider weekends.
