Verity

I am a freelance translator by trade and have been offering tutoring services since 2012. I am especially passionate about languages, travel, theatre, crochet and reading.

Availability: Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm

Experience: I have been tutoring since 2012 and have tutored pupils of all ages and abilities. I tutor French and English Literature to `A` level and English as a Foreign Language. I have tutored in England, Morocco and on a cruise to Canada.

I have also taught English as a Foreign Language through Drama in two week summer camps in Italy, worked as a playworker at an afterschool club for 4-8 year olds and taught drama at Maddermarket Theatre for 7-19 year olds. I have experience acting as a student ambassador for Girton College, Cambridge, providing tours and information for prospective students and have also provided supervisions for Chinese students taking part in CUDC`s winter programme. In 2018, I acted as a language ambassador for UEA providing French oral lessons for GCSE students.

I have also tutored students looking to apply to Oxbridge.

Whilst at Cambridge university, I took part in their Student Community Action project and tutored a young boy with special needs to help him improve his English and social skills.
