Information about Rhys

I am a Physics major and experienced tutor, with over 150+ hours of tutoring experience gained since my graduation from the University of Bath with a first class honours in 2019.
Please note that I also offer classes in focus groups of either 3 or 5 pupils at subsidised rates of 30% off and 50% off listing price respectively - please enquire if interested.

I have helped many students reach stellar grades, opening doors to new university opportunities and ultimately assisting them in reaching their full potential in science and mathematics. I`m a strong believer that students do best when they enjoy what they`re studying, and as such, my work is centred around transferring my tremendous enthusiasm for STEM to everyone that I teach. Everyone has a natural curiosity to learn - it just need to be naturally brought out of students. This is where best results are achieved, and this is also where academic interests blossom into passions and into careers.

I teach all core physics modules to degree level, including Newtonian mechanics and kinematics, forces and motion, vibrations waves and optics (inc. the nature and behaviour of light), astrophysics (astronomy and cosmology as well as the nature of planets, exoplanets and star systems), electricity and magnetism, electromagnetism, electrical circuits, special relativity, particle physics, thermodynamics, nuclear physics (and radioactivity), fluid mechanics and more.

I am familiar with and able to cater to a range of examining boards including AQA, CAIE, Edexcel including Edexcel IGCSE, OCR A, OCR B, WJEC and CBAC (England and Wales). Being a fluent native Welsh speaker I can also teach through the medium of Welsh.

I also teach Maths, Chemistry and Biology at both GCSE and A-level.

Whatever topic you`re getting stuck on, let`s go solve it.
I believe that any student can not only tackle science academia, but also thoroughly enjoy it.
